Splash Point

Splash Point is a beautifully atmospheric song by Kandina Jane, written about the much-loved area of Rhyl known as Splash Point. At its heart, the song is about longing — the pull of home, memory and the coastline after time spent living in London.

Produced and mixed by Gordon Milton, who also contributes guitar and keyboards, the track features an impressive line-up of musicians, including Kate Bush drummer Stuart Elliott, legendary fretless bassist Tony Franklin, Welsh session guitarist Wyn Pearson, and Kandina Jane herself on piano and vocals.

Mastered by Inspire Music, Splash Point carries a stormy, water-washed mood, full of movement, emotion and reflection. It feels cinematic and deeply personal, like standing at the edge of the sea as the past rises with the tide.
